The Rochester Public Market, now over a century old, is today still a bustling marketplace, where you can buy straight from the farmer, and enjoy a growing number of vendors and permanent cafes that have sprung up in the Market's warehouse buildings. The Market District is not only a place to buy local and load up your senses with the diversity of the offerings and patrons—it is also a neighborhood with loads of character, that includes housing from nineteenth century single-family homes to Station 55, a trendy loft apartment developmenton Railroad Street within a stone's throw of the Market gates.
